Alice Dini is a doctoral researcher in the group of Professor Daniela Ungureanu, Ph.D. since October 2022. Her research explores the mechanism underlying therapeutic resistance in high grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC), encompassing bioinformatics and wet-lab expertise. At the University of Oulu (UO), her main project examines the modulation of the transcriptomic profile of HGSOC patient-derived cancer and stromal cells to a wide variety of investigational and approved oncological compounds. Furthermore, she is also involved in several collaboration projects aimed at discovering new drug vulnerabilities in various types of cancer cells, stressing her research interests in translational cancer biology. Prior to arriving at UO, Alice completed a Master’s Degree in Medical Epigenomics as well as a Bachelor's degree in Genomics.
